Boxer Daniel Asenov claims victory in Rio

At his first match in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games Bulgarian boxer Daniel Asenov defeated Argentine Fernando Martinez in the 52 kg category. His next rival is Africa’s champion and bronze medalist from the latest world championships Mohamed Flissi from Algeria, fourth seeded in the Olympic boxing tournament. “It was not easy but I am satisfied I was successful in the match. The next one will be much tougher. I hope it will be better for me”, Daniel Asenov told the Bulgarian National Radio correspondent to Rio de Janeiro Teodor Chereshev.
