The Bulgarian National Assembly has decided that the elections for president and vice president will be held on November 6, as proposed by MPs from the GERB party, the Reform Bloc, the Patriotic Front, Bulgarian Democratic Center and the Ataka party. According to law, the elections must take place no earlier than three months and not later than two months before the end of the mandate of the head of state, i.e. January 22, 2017.
