Tourist market enlivenment in both directions

In June the Bulgarian tourist business has made up for the decline of tourists last year however it is still behind results seen in the same month of 2013 and 2014. Last month holidaymakers from Russia came in the largest numbers – at 128 thousand (25.5% up on June of 2015), followed by Germans 103.5 thousand (44.4% up) and Romanians– close to 67 thousand (57% up). There is a substantial rise in the numbers of Polish tourists - 2.5 times to 19,320. Guests from Israel increased by 42%. The number of British holidaymakers shrank by 18% to reach about 20 thousand. Bulgaria has been losing tourists from Greece – the decline is 40% to 22.5 thousand. The number of French tourists shrank close to three times: from 14 thousand to just 5 thousand.
