The village of Shipkovo, Troyan district, marks for the fifth consecutive year the Day of the Mineral Water. The celebrations started at 4 pm and include a rich folklore program with the participation of Kalofer folk orchestra and local folklore ensembles. Shipkovo Mayor Minko Stanchevski pointed out that Shipkovski Mineral Baths resort has been offering spa procedures since 1912. Mr Stanchevski explained that the local mineral water is used for the treatment of neurological, stomach and kidney diseases.
