Despite the economic growth registered in Bulgaria, the local consumers fear that it would not last long and expect that their country would enter into a recession, data of a public opinion survey about the consumer climate in Europe in the second quarter of 2016 show. The economic expectations of the Bulgarian citizens dropped by 1.4% in the second quarter of 2016 against the backdrop of a 3% economic growth in 2015 and 2.9% growth in the first trimester of 2016. Meanwhile, their revenue expectations increased to 5.2 points, which is 11.8% increase as compared to the same period last year.
