After today’s Security Council meeting, Bulgarian Minister of Defense Nikolay Nenchev said that the military would be trained to prevent terrorist threats. According to the minister, if a new bill was passed, the military would be allowed to conduct searches, make arrests, use weapons, etc. That is why training must start immediately because the Bulgarian army has not conducted such tasks .
