Bulgarian MPs paid homage to the victims of Tuesday’s terrorist attack in Istanbul with a one-minute silence. National Assembly Vice President Dimitar Glavchev termed the terrorist attack a brutal act against freedom and peace and pointed out that Bulgaria strongly condemned it. „There is no excuse for such monstrous violence against innocent people. In Bulgaria we all grieve for the innocent victims of this huge tragedy”, Glavchev said. Bulgaria’s Embassy in Ankara and the General Consulate in Istanbul are monitoring the situation closely in the wake of the attacks on the Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul. So far there are no reports of Bulgarians hurt in the attack.
