The introduction of assessment of the impact of the local legislation and of the public consultations as mandatory element in the process of decision making is a top priority of the 43rd Bulgarian National Assembly, the President of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva said during the opening of the international symposium entitled Decision and its Assessment. Tsetska Tsacheva reminded that at the end of April this year the National Assembly adopted amendments to the Law on Normative Acts, which will enter into force in the beginning of November, 2016. Thus, an assessment of the impact of the legislation is to be introduced for the first time. The regulations are to be enforced towards the legislative initiatives of the Bulgarian Ministerial Council and of the MPs.
