MPs from GERB, the Reformist bloc, the Patriotic Front and the Bulgarian Democratic Centre have introduced in Parliament a proposal for new amendments to the Election Code concerning voting abroad. As set in the newly proposed amendments, up to 35 polling stations can be opened in each country outside Bulgaria, such the opening of polling stations outside the diplomatic and consular missions will require 60 applications for voting. The proposal is expected to be discussed next week in the parliamentary committees and be tabled in plenary hall in the second week of June.
