After 10-year efforts railroad from Plovdiv to Greek, Turkish borders set to be completed: Ivaylo Moskovski

The upgrade of the railroad from Plovdiv to the Greek and Turkish borders that started more than ten years ago is finally heading to completion, Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski has said during the opening of the sections Dimitrovgrad-Simeonovgrad and Lubimets and the Greek border, part of the project Reconstruction and Electrification of Plovdiv-Svilengrad Railroad Corridors IV and IX. The ceremony was joined by PM Boyko Borissov, central and local government officials, the press service of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications said.„Without political stability and support from all institutions including local government and mayors, this would not have been possible to achieve”, Moskovski pointed out.
