Create your own Easter mood using bright colors: with these words Elena Yagoridkova welcomed in Sofia the first group in the series of events Bright Colored Workshops for Kids and Adults for making unique decoration for Easter.

These items include small baskets, wreaths, colored bunnies and everything that makes the table and our house colorful and smiling, which is precisely the mood of Easter. Both today and in upcoming workshops that we plan to organize there is a professional supervisor. Anybody is able to create decoration of their own, make a jewel or plant a flower in a painted pot. Of course, people are different and items may not be perfect but they are still unique.”

Professional assistance came from Elena Yagoridkova who has been creating decoration for years and was ready with advice to anybody who had issues with combining colors for the Easter egg basket. Of course the option of buying ready decoration is widely accessible today. However, more and more people prefer to create something beautiful on their own and make the festive occasion very special. No wonder the Bright Colored Workshop for Kids and Adults workshop held on a Sunny Sunday attracted twenty participants. Children were the most enthusiastic among them.

„For the kids this experience is absolutely emotional and rewarding, not to mention their infinite imagination so their creations turn out unconventional and intensely beautiful. This is a good way for them to feel the real worth of Easter celebrations, to continue family traditions and get involved in preparation for the great day”, Elena Yagoridkova explains.

Seven-year old Alexander Byuson came along with his mother. And while for her decorating the home for Easter is an annual chore, it was his first time to decorate an Easter wreath.

„I like it very much here because there is a lot of creativity, and I love making things. For Easter we usually dye eggs and mom always puts some red paint on our cheeks. Well, we also make sweet Easter bread. Mom  makes it and I usually help”, Alex said.

There will be other workshops where a great many new things will be shown.

„We plan to organize such workshops every month on a sunny Sunday. Upcoming topics include how to plant flowers and take proper care of them, how to make the balcony more appealing and how to make one's own jewels”, Elena Yagoridkova concludes.
