An online alert platform AgroPolice.bg is being launched at the initiative of the Association of Bulgarian Villages for preventing crime and embezzlement in villages, agriculture and the rural areas of Bulgaria. The platform will also offer security advice.

The new web portal was developed on the basis of proposals made by hundreds of mayors and deputy-mayors, farmers and entrepreneurs in villages, representatives of public and professional organizations. AgroPolice.bg will help send alerts of fraud involving farming produce, illegal felling, dangerous driving, fraud in EU funding, corruption at related institutions, harvest and farming equipment theft etc.
