Minister Mitov meets with Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei

It is to the interest of Bulgaria and the international community to develop their relations with Belarus, Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Mitov said at a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei. Minister Daniel Mitov is on a two-day visit to Belarus as Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. Minister Mitov voiced his satisfaction with the successful cooperation with Belarus in the tourism field and the cooperation between the countries in the visa issuance procedure, which contributed to the increase of the Belarusian tourists in Bulgaria. However, Minister Mitov underlined that the two countries have not fully used the opportunities in the bilateral trade field.
