Sofia’s trade & economic office in Bucharest, Romania, has announced that in 2015 Bulgarian exports to that country came to a record 1.893 billion euro registering an 8.3 percent growth on 2014. Imports came to 1.786 billion euro that takes the sum total of commodity turnover to 3.679 billion euro. A trend is seen of an increasing number of Bulgarian companies exporting to Romania. Romanian tourists visiting this country have been on the rise as well. In 2015 their number hit close to 1 million, meaning it grew 4.1 percent.
