The movie Losers directed by Ivailo Hristov is strong, intriguing and humane film. It raises a series of questions about the country's post-totalitarian reality, about the depopulating Bulgarian towns, the lack of occupation that forced many parents to work abroad, in order to support their families. This is a movie about the difficult childhood, solidarity and love. On November 12 the audience at Hall No1 of the National Palace of Culture applauded loudly the Losers movie which opened this year's edition of the Cinemania film festival. Let us remind that the black and white movie of director Ivailo Hristov won the main prize of the prestigious Moscow International Film Festival and the first prize of the audience. Recently the movie received the Golden Rose award for best feature film at the Golden Rose Bulgarian Feature Film Festival. The Best Actress Award of that festival went to young actress Elena Telbis for her role in Losers. The movie also won the People's Choice Award, the Critics Guild Award and the Accredited Journalists Award of the Golden Rose Bulgarian Feature Film Festival.

The audience can also watch the films I am You, While Aya was Sleeping and The Woman of My Life in this year's edition of Cinemania. Two documentaries are dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Bulgarian Cinema. One of the films is about talented Bulgarian actress Katya Paskaleva who would have turned seventy in 2015. The other documentary presents the local comedy films. The children will have the opportunity to watch the screen version of Valeri Petrov's animated fairytale Puk. There is a strong Bulgarian presence in the documentary named Life is an Endless Swing of Belgian director Andre Shandel. The female vocal trio Sentimental Swingers and celebrated trumpeter Mihail Yosifov star in that film.

The Cinemania festival honors with a series of film-shows remarkable authors and actors such as Ingrid Bergman, Mario Monicelli, Orson Welles and Frank Sinatra who were born 100 years ago.

The Festival of Festivals rubric gathered 18 new titles of the world cinema. Nine films were included in the traditional French Film Festival.

The audience eagerly anticipates the Hamlet Show where actor Benedict Cumberbatch shows his huge talent. The film is shown all across the globe. The Bulgarian audience will have the chance to see Roger Water's World Tour-The Wall. The program of the cinema festival includes selections of children's, Italian and music cinema.
