Pop music scene review

The young band PSS /Pimp Switch Sequence/ has released a new song titled The End of Rain that goes with a video. The song with lyrics music and arrangement by Vassilen Valtchanov was recorded at the Artracks Recording Studio in Greece. The video was created by PSS and was shot by director Kiril Todorov. It mixes red, white and black, colors known to have a very strong psychological impact on people.

PSS try not to follow trends and rules and have also set up some rules of their own. They make sure their style develops dynamically. This shows in their latest product. With The End of Rain PSS has entered a new phase, a harder interpretation of rock.

The popular Mania Duo has for a few years been absent from the Bulgarian pop music scene. Last year the sisters Juliana and Daniela were back from USA with some fresh professional experience. The twosome premiered their new single Thousand Questions and the video to it at Studio 5 Club in Sofia. Talking about the video shooting they said: „We had to choose from two parts offered by director Vassil Stefanov – of detectives or clones. We liked the latter as we thought it could be more amusing for us and for our fans.” The girls are happy with the results and grateful to the crew. The style of One Thousand Questions is pop with a touch of funk. The lyrics are by Gergana Turiiska, and the music and arrangement by Stamen Yanev.

The musicians from Ostava Band have been working on a new album with the working title Ocean, the title of one of their latest singles.

After Good Night and Just a Moment the musicians from the band have recorded the song Raging, part of the new project. More than 1000 participants and more than 20 directors have created the video to it. The band has actually entrusted the making of the video to its fans. Ostava challenged the audience at their traditional concert last summer to join in with their own shots. After the event more than twenty fans sent raw material from the first performance of Raging on stage.  "We can see in them how people have fun, dance and sing together Raging. There is no greater recognition for a band that that”, contends Svilen Noev, Ostava vocalist and writer of the lyrics of Raging.
