Antistatic International Festival attracts the audience with ''More Than a Dance''

The 17th edition of the Antistatic International Festival for Contemporary Dance and Performance will be held in Sofia from May 7 to 23. The festival is held under the motto "More Than a Dance."

The educational programme of the festival includes a series of lectures at the Goethe Institut - "Witches’ Dances", "Performance and the Body In and Out of the White Cube", "The Value of Dance". 

The international artistic programme will be opened on May 14 with the performance Radical Cheerleading by German choreographer Zufit Simon, which was awarded the prestigious prize ''Der Faust''.

There will also be a Bulgarian Dance Platform, where 40 curators and directors of theaters and festivals from Europe, South Korea, Egypt, and Jordan will become acquainted with 13 Bulgarian performances and may invite the artists to perform abroad.
