On April 18, we mark World Amateur Radio Day. On this date in 1925, the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) was founded. In Bulgaria, the foundations of the organized amateur radio movement were laid in 1926, when 38 people of various professions (electrical engineers, radio technicians, military personnel, one merchant and one director of a construction company), founded the "Bulgarian Radio Club ". For many years, the DX MIX show on "Radio Bulgaria" with host Ivo Ivanov attracted an audience of thousands of radio amateurs from all over the world, who sent us their reports.
