Bulgarians are eager to spend money on tourist experiences

In line with European attitudes, 86% of Bulgarians believe that spending on experiences is always justified, according to a study by Mastercard in Europe, conducted among 16,141 users from 20 countries, investor.bg reports. 

35% of polled Bulgarians say that a concert of their favorite band or a visit to a world-famous restaurant has a huge effect on their whole life. 63% of Bulgarians plan to spend on traveling and 5 out of 10 would travel to another country for an event they are interested in. 39% will attend a concert or music festival in 2024. Over 1/3 of respondents plan to engage in sports and recreation outdoors or visit spas and prefer to share these experiences with loved ones to create enriching memories for a lifetime. 29% will engage in culinary experiences.
