National protest against violence against women scheduled for tonight

A national protest against violence against women is taking place for the second time in a number of towns and cities across the country today.

In Sofia, the demonstration is mottoed “No to violence!”. The organizers are demanding policies for preventing, supporting and protecting women who have been victims of violence, and facilitating access to the justice system.

The protest in Sofia is scheduled for 6 PM in front of the Palace of Justice.
