The global company Equinix opened its second data center in Sofia. The investment is to the tune of USD 19 million. Its purpose is to help business adapt easier and quicker to the IT infrastructure. The building will use 100% green energy like the first center of the company built in the Bulgarian capital in 2016. The new facility is expected to encourage investors to expand their business towards Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The center will ensure connectivity between the company and its partners and guarantee easy transition to cloud technologies and access to the markets across the globe. The new facility will allow clients from the region to fulfill their strategy for digital transformation.
