The collection of publications “The Murder of the Impossible”, dedicated to renowned Bulgarian mountaineer Boyan Petrov who died last spring while climbing Shishapangma, was presented in Sofia on 7 February – Boyan Petrov’s birthday.

The book is by the Italian legend in mountain climbing – Reinhold Messner – and features over 30 publications by world-class mountain climbers from all over the world who focus on the limits in mountain climbing. One of the articles is by Boyan Petrov, to whom Reinhold Messner has dedicated his entire book.

“It gives me such pleasure to read about a Bulgarian who climbs eight-thousanders the way he climbs the mountains in his own country. He was a man with a passion,” comments famous Bulgarian mountain climber Doychin Vassilev.
